Burlington Neighbourhoods
Choose your place to live in Burlington
Stretching between Niagara Escarpment and the shores of Lake Ontario the city of Burlington is situated in the center of the urban corridor known as the Golden Horseshoe. Due to its geographic position and proximity to greater southern Ontario and the US markets, Burlington's 13,000 businesses employ thousands of people in the advanced manufacturing, software development, financial services, biotechnology, environmental and logistics industries. Burlington’s low crime rates and a real community feel continues to attract young professionals and families. Although the majority of households live in detached and semi-detached housing, the city represents various life styles from urban condo to luxury living along the waterfront. Lake Ontario makes Burlington a summertime playground. It has a marina with an active boating community and a beautiful sandy beach and over 135 kms of trails of the Niagara Escarpment enjoyed by hikers, bikers, and walkers. Indeed Burlington has so much to offer from the splendor of the Royal Botanical Gardens and the city’s many summer festivals, to the magic of Burlington Performing Arts Centre which often features award winning plays, musicians and dance performers.
